The Band

Hailing from Hawkes Bay in New Zealand the Fondue Party is a pop-rock band dedicated to creating the music they want to hear.

Morris Howard: Bass

Morris played drums in several bands before making a move to the bass guitar. Being self-taught he has evolved a slightly unorthodox approach, often treating the bass as a melodic instrument, weaving lines throughout the songs that work as a counterpoint to the guitar work of Andrew. Morris is also an avid record collector, with a huge range of music on vinyl.

Marty Smith: Drums

Drum duties are covered by Marty. However he is also a very able guitarist, with this multi intrumental approach possibly being the source of his inherent musicality on drums. When he plays you get the very real sense he is truly expressing himself, striving to create something that has inherent interest and enhances the music. That is, he's ego free and plays for the song.

Andrew Klinkhamer: Guitar and Keyboards

Andrew plays guitar and keyboards. Andrew had classical piano lessons as a child before switching to guitar. He worked full time for several years as a guitar teacher, honing his own technique and outlook in the process. Sitting slightly left of center with regards to standard approaches to rock/pop guitar playing he's determined to bring something new to the table with the Fondue Party.
